Educational Display Garden

The David Douglas Botanical Society is currently working to establish a Educational Display Garden on the four hectare site between the two main parking lots on the campus of UNBC. It is the second project undertaken by the society and is a legacy to the partnership between the University of Northern British Columbia and the Society.

The Educational Display Garden saw a number of enhancements this past summer with the much awaited installation of the irrigation system, the planting of the trees, the shaping of a berm and the planting of the temporary perennial beds. The Society also received a donation of 63 liliacs to be planted in the spring of 2008.
