The David Douglas Botanical Garden Society presents the First 2023-24 Weed Free Lecture on Tuesday, November 7th at 7:00pm by Zoom.

ART IN THE GARDEN

with Maureen Faulkner

Maureen is a local artist, art instructor and a Master Gardener. She and her husband Dave have lived on their one-acre property along the beautiful Nechako River for 39 years. During that time, they have turned it into their own masterpiece. 

Join us as Maureen examines the elements and principals of art as seen through the lens of a gardener. She will share some of the objects and events held in their garden. See a group of the Central Interior Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artist painting in Maureen’s garden and how they interpret the garden. At end of presentations there will be time for questions and answers.
